Fordham senior Shintaro Noguchi (Tiburon, Calif./Redwood) was named Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week for the second consecutive week on Tuesday by the league office.  It is the seventh time he has been named performer of the week in his career.
 
Noguchi won two individual events in the Rams' dual meet with Yale and Rider this past weekend. He won the 100-yd freestyle in a season-best time 45.96 seconds, while also taking home the 100-yd butterfly in a season-best time of 49.54 seconds.
 
Noguchi also recorded a second-place finish in the 200-yd freestyle with a time of 1:42.57, which was also his best time of the year.
 
Noguchi and the rest of the Rams are back in action on Saturday, February 1st, when the Rams travel to Amherst for a meet against UMass, beginning at 1:00 PM.
