On Saturday, the Fordham cross country team will take to the sun baked fields of Van Cortlandt Park for the 33^rd running of the Fordham Fiasco XC Meet.  The meet will have additional importance this year, as the Rams will honor former assistant coach Ed Joyce, who passed away this past January after a long bout with cancer, prior to the start of the races.
 
The tribute to Coach Joyce will begin at 9:45 AM.
 
A total of 20 schools and over 400 runners will take part in Saturday's festivities with the women's race beginning at 10:00 AM with the men's race starting at 10:30 AM.  The women's competition will be a 5K race, while the men's event will be a five-mile race (8K).
 
The teams competing this weekend are Fordham, Rider, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hartford, Monmouth, Navy (men only), Rutgers, Saint Peter's, Fairfield, Drew, East Stroudsburg, Elmhurst (women only), Philadelphia University, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, St. Thomas Aquinas, Felician, Southern Maine (women only), Dowling, Dominican, and Chestnut Hill.
