The Fordham cross country and track & field teams are hosting their annual Family/Alumni event on Saturday, September 14^th at P.J. Harper's Restaurant in Valley Stream, New York, following the Rams' competition at the LIU Post Invitational.
 
The day gives families and alumni the opportunity to meet the rest of the Fordham family and the coaches.  With the majority of the year ahead, it also gives everyone an opportunity to relax and catch a breath before the team hits its stride. 
 
The event is slated from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, with appetizers and beverages served.  The cost for the day is $35 per person or $65 per couple.  Please make checks payable to: Fordham Track & Field.  If you are mailing a check instead of bringing it to the event, please send it to:

From Bronx:   Throggs Neck or Whitestone Bridge to Cross Island Parkway to Southern State (SS) Parkway (approx. 10 miles).  Exit at #15, Corona Ave South – the 3rd exit.  Bear right at end of ramp – ¼ mile street forks at a light, bear left onto Rockaway Avenue.  Crossing over Merrick Road (CVS on left) Harper's is on the right, immediately after traffic light. 
 
From LIU Post:  Right onto Northern Blvd – Right onto Route 107/Cedar Swamp Road, this is the first light.  It is about two miles to the Northern State Parkway West (immediately after the Long Island Expressway/495).  About three miles later, exit on right to Meadowbrook Parkway South to Southern State Parkway West to Exit 15 South, Corona Avenue South – then follow the directions above.
