Cabrini College Release

BRONX, N.Y. - Fresh off her third NCAA Regional appearance in the last four years, head softball coach Bridget Orchard has garnered yet another honor. The former coach at Divison III Cabrini College, Orchard has been selected as one of four members to that institution's Hall of Fame Class of 2013.

Despite being at the school for just four years, Orchard left a lasting impact on the Cavaliers softball program.

During her time at Cabrini, Orchard compiled a 129-42-2 overall record, capturing three regular season conference titles and two PAC tournament crowns. Following each of those tournament wins in 2000 and 2001, Orchard ushered Cabrini into the finals of the NCAA Regional.

The pinnacle of her success at Cabrini came in 2001, when she coached the Cavaliers to a 42-5 record and had four players named to the All-America Team.

The induction will take place on Friday, September 27th.
