May 6, 2013 - Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University men's tennis student-athlete Srikar Alla (Hyderabad, India/Pendleton School) was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 it was announced by the league office today. Alla, who was named second team all-conference last season, earns All-Atlantic 10 accolades for the second consecutive season. He is the third Ram to earn back-to-back Atlantic 10 honors, the first since Chris Kelly in 2001 and 2002.

Alla, a sophomore who entered the spring season ranked 20th in the ITA Northeast Regional Rankings, compiled an 18-8 singles record in 2012-2013, playing mostly at first singles where he was 11-4 in dual matches. He also picked up nine doubles wins on the season, playing mostly at first doubles.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Alla, led the Rams in singles wins, going 23-9 on the year, playing mostly at second singles where he was 16-2. In doubles action, Alla was 17-14 overall, 7-0 at first doubles.
