As the 2012-2013 season winds down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 79th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 1 to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.
Among those honored was senior Nick Synan (Iowa City, Iowa/Regina) who was named 2012 men's cross country team MVP.
Synan posted four finishes in the top ten this season, which included a first place finish at the William & Mary Tribe Open. He placed fourth at this year's Metropolitan Championship and then took ninth at the IC4A Championship.
