Following a senior year that saw her finish third on the all-time digs list at Fordham, Maria Rodenberg (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Ursula Academy) has been named Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference, it was announced on Thursday by the league office.

The team leader in digs at 3.70 per set, Rodenberg captained the Rams' back line during her senior campaign.  On September 13th against Binghamton, Rodenberg became just the fifth Ram in school to reach the 1,000 dig mark.  Overall, she reached double figures in digs in 24 of 30 matches, which included a school record 38 at Central Connecticut State on September 21^st.

Rodenberg, who carries a 3.79 GPA with a double major in biological sciences and anthropology, also ranked second in the Atlantic 10 in service aces, tallying 0.32 per set.

A pre-med student, Rodenberg plans to attend medical school after Fordham.
