Mechanicsville, Va. - The Fordham men's cross country team made its way to Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia, on Saturday for the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship. The Rams had a solid showing, placing sixth out of 13 teams with one Ram making the All-Conference team.
Overall, La Salle won the men's championship with a score of 27 points, followed by Saint Joseph's (75), George Mason (97), Massachusetts (133), Duquesne (137), Fordham (170), Saint Louis (182), Richmond (194), Dayton (205), VCU (252), George Washington (302), Rhode Island (345), and St. Bonaventure (412).
The Explorers had five finishers in the top 12, which included the winner of the five-mile race, Nico Greco, in a time of 23:46.9. Fordham's top finisher was junior
Jonathan Annelli, who finished seventh overall in 24:10.3 to earn a spot on the All-Conference team. Annelli's time, a personal-best, ranks as one of the fastest cross country times for a Rams' runner over that distance.
Fordham had two other top 30 finishers, as sophomore

th overall in 24:46.0, while senior
Brian Walter was 28

The Fordham cross country team will next be in action on November 15
th at the NCAA District Regional, which will be held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
