Carina Thompson and Brennan Delsing led Fordham with nine kills apiece, as the Rams closed out their 2013 campaign with a loss to Rhode Island on Saturday evening in Kingston, R.I.

Saturday marked the end for seven Fordham seniors, as Maria Rodenberg, Sara Konkel, Emily Atwood, Carina Thompson, Krista Whitewood, Michele Keathley, and Krissy Buongiorno all closed out their Fordham careers.  A senior academically, Lisa Hipp will return to Rose Hill in 2014 to use her last year of athletic eligibility.

Despite getting off to a quick start and sporting a 5-3 record through eight matches, the Rams struggled in the latter half of their schedule and closed out the season with a 10-20 mark overall, 3-11 in the Atlantic 10.

Rodenberg, who led the squad with 11 digs on the evening, closes out her Rose Hill career ranked third on the all-time digs list.

Konkel paced the Rams with 30 assists on Saturday night.

Set scores were 25-15, 25-20, and 25-19, respectively.
