Stony Brook, N.Y. - (Nov. 5, 2008) - The Fordham swimming and diving teams kept their record perfect on the season, as they swept their meet at Stony Brook this evening. The Fordham women (3-0) topped Stony Brook, 156-87, while the Fordham men (3-0) defeated the Seawolves, 137-102.

The meet started well for both squads as both placed first in the 400 medley relay. The women's relay won in a time of 3:59.25, while the men placed first in 3:33.27.

Outside of those two relays, all the event wins came in individual events, led by Andrea Krok, Ben Otto, Nicole Marshall, Ryan Coombs, and Billy Colton, who all won two events.

Krok and Otto won both of their respective diving events, as Krok captured the women's competition with scores of 238.65 (1M) and 243.75 (3M), while Otto won the men's diving events with scores of 252.68 (1M) and 261.30 (3M).

Marshall placed first in the women's 200 individual medley in 2:10.10, as well as in the 200 breaststroke in 2:23.67.

Colton also won the 200 individual medley in 2:00.64 for the men, while taking first in the 200 backstroke (1:56.15).

Ryan Coombs wrapped up the multi-event winners, taking the 200 freestyle (1:44.98) and the 200 butterfly (1:59.51).

Other event winners for Fordham included Courtney Collyer in the 200 butterfly (2:10.09), Kelly Bunster (54.40) and Justin Coombs (48.09) in the 100 freestyle, Christina Cosentino in the 200 backstroke (2:09.28), Caitlin Napoli in the 500 freestyle (5:07.38), and Sean McManus in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.32).

The Fordham swimming & diving teams will next be in action at the Rutgers Invitational, November 14-16.
