Bronx, N.Y. – (May 20, 2026) – The Fordham women's soccer team has released its schedule for the 2026 fall season which features 18 regular season contests along with two exhibition contests.
Under fifth year head coach
Magnus Nilerud, the regular season schedule is broken down into eight non-conference matches and ten conference matches.
Matches begin on Thursday, August 13
th, as the Rams start the year at Georgetown, who won two matches during the NCAA Championship. It will be just the second all-time meeting between the two Jesuit institutions with the other coming during the 2001 ECAC Championship. The Rams finish their opening weekend on Sunday, August 16
th at Maryland of the Big Ten. Fordham is 1-2 all-time against the Terrapins, having won the last meeting in College Park in 2012.
Fordham then come home for its first home game on August 20
th for the annual Battle of the Bronx match with Manhattan.
The remainder of non-league action is all on the road with matches against Marist (Aug. 23), Hofstra (Aug 27), Stonehill (Sept. 6), Columbia (Sept. 10), and Yale (Sept. 13).
Action in the Atlantic 10 Conference will begin on September 20
th, when the Rams host Loyola Chicago for the first of five home conference matches. Fordham will also play Davidson (Sept. 27), VCU (Oct. 8), La Salle (Oct. 18), and George Washington (Oct. 25).
Fordham's road league contests start on September 24
th at George Mason. The Rams will also travel to St. Bonaventure (Oct. 4), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 11), Dayton (Oct. 22), at Richmond (Nov. 1).
On top of the regular season schedule, Fordham will have two preseason exhibitions against LIU on August 5
th (home) and Sacred Heart on August 9
th (away).
The 2026 schedule will lead to the Atlantic 10 Championship with opening round contests, starting on November 5 with the championship final on November 15
th.
