BRONX – The Fordham women's crew will take to the road this weekend, traveling south to the Nation's Capital to compete in the GW Invitational Regatta on Saturday on the Potomac River. 
 
The Rams will face off against Georgetown in the AM Races and George Washington in the PM Races.  
 
"The Rams have been systematically checking our early season speed against our A-10 foes," said head coach Gerry Quinlan. "We are doing very well so far, but there is a lot of season left before the A-10 Championships and this weekend will be a challenge. George Washington and Georgetown are historically strong programs and GW are perennial Varsity 8 medalists in our conference.  Our team is up to the challenge this week."
