Pennsauken, N.J. - Fordham women's rowing competed at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships today on the Cooper River, with the Rams taking third overall, tying for the best finish in school history at the championships. 
 
Rhode Island won the team title with 48 points, followed by George Washington with 43. Fordham scored 40 points to place third with La Salle placing fourth (31). Duquesne rounded out the top five in the team scoring with 29 points.
 
The Rams took third at the Atlantic 10 championships four other times in the past, most recently 2019 when they tied with Massachusetts for third. The Rams also placed third in 2016, and tied for third in 1999 and 1998.
 
Following the championship, senior Eliza Collins and sophomore Mariya Sergeeva, members of the Varsity 8, were named First Team All-Atlantic 10 while senior Nicolette Giamarusti, a member of the Second Varsity 8, was named Second Team All-Conference.
 
The Varsity 8 was the top Fordham boat, taking second in its heat, just behind George Washington, to move on to the finals. In the finals the Rams beat all crews but Rhode Island, crossing the line less than a second ahead of third-place George Washington.
 
The Second Varsity 8 placed second in its heat to advance to the finals where Fordham took third, wining a bronze medal. The Rams crossed the line behind Rhode Island and George Washington but ahead of Saint Joseph's, Duquesne, and La Salle.
 
The Varsity 4 placed third in its morning heat to advance to the final where the Rams placed fifth in the final, just behind Rhode Island and ahead of George Mason.
