Bronx, N.Y. – Five Fordham rowing student-athletes were honored today for their academic and athletic accomplishments by being named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District.
 
Earning CSC Academic All-District honors were Eliza Collins, Nicolette Giamarusti, Bailey Scherdorf, and Alex Zaneski, along with junior Faith Lee.
 
The five led the Rams to a third place finish at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships, tying the best finish ever for Fordham at the Championship.
 
Eliza Collins (Sr., Portland, Ore./Jesuit)

• 2026 First Team All-Atlantic 10.
• 2025-26 Team MVP.
• Member of the Varsity 8 that placed second at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
• Varsity 8 won the Spring Metropolitan championship.
• Varsity 8 also won the Jesuit Invitational and Kerr Cup in 2026.
• Varsity 8 placed fourth in the grand final at the 2026 Dad Vail Championship.
• Recipient of the 2026 Kieran Award, presented to the Fordham College senior athlete who has made significant academic and athletic contributions.
• A double major in Political Science and English.

Nicolette Giamarusti (Sr., Chicago, Ill./Loyola Academy)

• 2026 Second Team All-Atlantic 10.
• Member of the Second Varsity 8 that placed third at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
• Second Varsity 8 won the Spring Metropolitan championship.
• Second Varsity 8 placed second at the Jesuit Invitational and Kerr Cup in 2026.
• Second Varsity 8 placed fourth in the grand final at the 2026 Dad Vail Championship.
• A Biology major.

Bailey Scherdorf (Sr., San Diego, Calif./Pacific Ridge)

• Member of the Varsity 8 that placed second at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
• Varsity 8 won the Spring Metropolitan championship.
• Varsity 8 also won the Jesuit Invitational and Kerr Cup in 2026.
• Varsity 8 placed fourth in the grand final at the 2026 Dad Vail Championship.
• A Marketing major.

Alex Zaneski (Sr., Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman)

• Member of the Varsity 8 that placed second at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
• Varsity 8 won the Spring Metropolitan championship.
• Varsity 8 also won the Jesuit Invitational and Kerr Cup in 2026.
• Varsity 8 placed fourth in the grand final at the 2026 Dad Vail Championship.
• An Economics major.

Faith Lee (Jr., Chicago, Ill./Whitney M. Young Magnet)

• Member of the Varsity 8 that placed second at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
• Varsity 8 won the Spring Metropolitan championship.
• Varsity 8 also won the Jesuit Invitational and Kerr Cup in 2026.
• Varsity 8 placed fourth in the grand final at the 2026 Dad Vail Championship.
• A Finance major.
