Bronx, N.Y. – (January 23, 2026) – The Fordham squash team began the second half of their 2025-26 season on Friday with a 6-3 loss to Brown.
The loss snapped a six-match win streak for Fordham, which fell to 9-4 on the season.
THE MATCH
- The match was tied at two after the first four individual matches.
- Nathan Martinez opened with a three-game win at the seventh slot over Jacob Robinson by scores of 11-9, 11-9, and 11-8.
- Joe Walsh picked up the next win of the Rams at ninth position, rallying for a five-game victory over Nate Meyer, 9-11, 6-11, 11-7, 11-4, and 17-15.
- Fordham earned a final team point at eighth position, as Charlie Friedman won via retirement during the second game over Griffin Taylor after taking game one, 11-7.

- The Rams host a pair of matches on Saturday, January 24th, taking on North Carolina at 9:00 AM and Northeastern at noon.
