The Rams earned three first team, three second team, an all-rookie, and two all-academic selections

BRONX, N.Y. – Highlighting a total of seven All-Conference honorees for Fordham University Softball, Sydney Wells was named the 2025 Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Year to lead the end of season awards announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Wells is just the six player in program history to claim Player of the Year in the A-10, and led a group of three Fordham players on the First Team All-Conference lineup alongside outfielder Neleh Nogay and designated player Nicki Sudall

The Rams also brought home a trio of Second Team awards as pitcher Holly Beeman, first baseman Eva Koratsis, and shortstop Kate McGuire each earned a spot, while freshman pitcher Elizabeth Gaisior was tabbed to the All-Rookie team as well. Rounding out the accolades, both Koratsis and Sudall were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic lineup.

Slashing .372/.542/.810 on the year, Sydney Wells leads the Rams into the postseason with 49 RBIs and 16 home runs, along with 47 walks in 51 games played, ranked seventh best in the nation in walks per game at 0.92. Wells' 16 home runs is 49th best of any player in Division I, while her on base percentage ranks 29th nationally and her slugging percentage places her 41st in the country. The Selah, Wash. native is putting on by far her best season yet in her senior campaign, tied for the fourth most home runs in a single season at Fordham, and the second most walks of any player in program history. Going into the A-10 tournament Wells is seventh all-time at Fordham with 146 RBIs in her career, and sits sixth all-time in home runs with 37, and ninth with 86 walks.

Setting both a Fordham and Atlantic 10 record for most stolen bases in a single season with 42, Neleh Nogay put on a record year, also leading all conference players with 74 hits on the year, fourth most in a single season at Fordham. Third in the A-10 with a .383 batting average and 49 runs scored, Nogay hit .396 against league opponents, with conference best 40 hits and 26 stolen bases, while placing second with 29 runs scored.

Splitting time at the catcher and designated player spot, Nicki Sudall held the cleanup spot in the order for most of the year, with 47 hits on the year, driving in 29 RBis and scoring 18 runs, hitting .315. Sudall led all players in A-10 play with a .398 batting average and was third with a 1.096 OPS, while also sitting third with 33 hits and eight doubles, fifth in the league with 21 RBIs, and seventh with four home runs against league opponents.

The first of three second team honorees, Holly Beeman led the Fordham pitching staff on the year tossing 16 complete games in 21 appearances, with a 2.42 ERA on the year, posting a 12-7 record. In over 127 innings of work the Rams' aces allowed just 44 earned runs, while striking out 78 batters. Ranked 30th in the country in complete games, Beeman is also ranked 93rd nationally in shutouts with three and 94th in  ERA.

Returning from injury just before the start of league play, Kate McGuire enters the playoffs batting .301 in 31 games at shortstop, scattering 28 hits and driving in 16 RBIs and scoring 10 runs. McGuire, one of the top defensive assets for the Rams posted the second most assists of any player in the league with 63 in conference play and 70 overall on the year, alongside 30 putouts to help the Maroon and White turn 12 double plays this season.

Playing every game for the Rams at first base, Eva Koratsis was another plus-.300 hitter for the Rams, batting .318 over 51 games, scattering 50 hits and driving in 36 RBIs, second most on the team along with 37 runs scored, also second best of any Ram. Committing just one error all season long, Koratsis was fifth in the league in RBIs and seventh with 11 doubles, while ranked ninth of all A-10 players in hits as well. In league play Koratsis also had 21 RBI's, fourth best in the A-10, and her 28 hits against conference foes was 10th best.

Earning a spot on the All-Rookie team, Elizabeth Gaisior was a key asset for the Rams pitching staff, collecting three wins late in the year, while tossing 59.1 innings overall. Across 15 appearances, including five starts, Gaisior struck out 44 batters with a 4.84 ERA in her rookie campaign.

The No. 3 seed Rams take on No. 6 Loyola Chicago Wednesday afternoon in the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN+ in Washington D.C.
