Bronx, N.Y. – (December 19, 2025) – The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the 2025 ACWPC Division I Men's Varsity All-America Team and National Awards on Friday.
Following the team's fifth straight MAWPC Championship and second straight national semifinalist appearance, five Fordham Rams were named to the All-America Team, led by Fordham sophomore
Andras Toth (Pecs, Hungary), who was named ACWPC First Team All-America. Fellow sophomore
Luca Provenziani (Rome, Italy) received Second Team honors, while graduate student
Luca Silvestri (Napoli, Italy), senior
Balazs Berenyi (Budapest, Hungary), and junior
Barnabas Eppel (Budapest, Hungary) all earned Honorable Mention accolades.
Toth, who was an All-America Honorable Mention pick last season, became the fifth Ram to be named the MAWPC Most Valuable Player and First Team All-MAWPC after an incredible sophomore campaign in 2025. A four-time MAWPC Player of the Week, he set the Fordham single season record for goals scored with 134, breaking the mark of 114 by
Jake Miller-Tolt in 2019. He also added 58 assists, along with team-highs of 72 steals and 31 field blocks. Listed on the Cutino Award Watch List, Toth also led the Rams with 31 extra-man goals, while posting at least three goals in 26 of the Rams' 30 games this season. He also was named to the MAWPC All-Championship First Team and the NCAA All-Championship Second Team. Toth is just the second Ram ever to be named First Team All-America (Provenziani – 2024).
Provenziani earned Second Team All-America accolades a year after being a First Team selection as a freshman. A First Team All-MAWPC pick, he led the Rams in overall scoring with 193 points, posting 90 goals and becoming the first Ram to have 100 assists in a single season at 103. He also recorded a personal-best 54 steals and 14 field blocks. A candidate for the Cutino Award, he received four weekly awards during the season, which included three Player of the Week awards. Earlier this year, he tied the single game record for assists with nine against Santa Clara on September 7
th, while setting career-highs with seven goals and 12 points against Brown on November 15
th.
Silvestri received All-America Honorable Mention for the second time in his career, after being the MVP of the 2025 MAWPC Championship and Second Team All-MAWPC. He capped his four-year stay at Fordham with his third career 50-goal season and became the seventh Ram to reach 200 career goals. He ended up third on the Rams in goals this season with 50, while adding 29 assists and 25 steals. Silvestri wrapped up his career in the top 10 all-time at Fordham in goals (215), assists (110), points (325), steals (133), and blocks (36).
Eppel earned All-America Honorable Mention honors for the first time after being named Second Team All-MAWPC during the regular season. He netted 48 goals this season to go with nine assists, 11 steals, and 16 blocks, while registering a team-high 76 exclusions drawn. Eppel was MAWPC Player of the Week once during the season and reached 150 career goals.
Berenyi is also a first-time All-America Honorable Mention honoree in 2025. A two-time MAWPC Defensive Player of the Week and an MAWPC All-Championship Second Team selection, Berenyi finished his Fordham career as a four-time MAWPC champion, netting 28 goals with nine assists, 14 steals, and 10 blocks as a senior. For his career, he ended up with 163 goals, 99 assists, and 113 steals, while finishing fourth in career games played with 129.
