Bronx, N.Y. – (January 24, 2025) – The Fordham squash team returned to action on Friday night, as they opened up a five-match home weekend with an 8-1 loss to Brown.
The loss moves Fordham to 9-5 on the year.
Fordham's lone point of the match came from
Robert Cruikshank at fourth position, as he knocked off Isaac Dahan in four games, 11-5, 8-11, 11-9, and 11-8.
The Rams just missed a second point at ninth position, as
Crispin McCarthy was up two games to one, over Nate Meyer, but Meyer rallied to win the final two games to take the match, 10-12, 11-6, 3-11, 11-9, and 11-2.
The Rams' home weekend continues on Saturday, January 25
th, with three matches against Washington & Lee at 9:00 AM, Johns Hopkins at 10:30 AM, and Northeastern at 2:00 PM.
