Box Score Baton Rouge, La. – The Fordham University women's tennis team continued its spring break trip in the Bayou State on Friday with a 4-0 win over Southern University.
 
Fordham opened the match by taking the doubles point, winning all three doubles matches. Anlin Xie and Raffaela Alhach defeated Southern's Paris Washington and Kai Wince, 6-2, at first doubles while Xiaowei Hu and Eleni Fasoula upended Baluck Deang and Shahd Habib at the second position, 6-4. Demi Jhaveri and Camila Baeza made it a clean sweep for the Rams with a 7-6(4) victory over Jessica Hess and Agye Mintah at third doubles.
 
The Rams then took the first three completed singles matches for the 4-0 win. Fasoula was victorious at first singles over Washington, 6-2, 6-3, Franny Shea took third singles from Hess, 6-0, 6-3, and Sofie Siem picked up a point for Fordham with a 6-4, 6-0 win at fifth singles over LaTesha Grant.
