BRONY, N.Y. – The top-seeded Fordham women's tennis team continued its torrid pace today, picking up its eleventh straight win with a 4-1 victory over Davidson College in the semifinals of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship at the USTA National Campus.
 
The win advances Fordham to the championship final where the Rams will face second-seeded VCU on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
 
Fordham opened the match taking the doubles point, winning the two completed doubles matches. Catalina Padilla and Paola Dalmonico started things off with a 6-1 win at third doubles over Olivia Hooper and Keri Rothenberg before Lily Chitambar and Valerija Kargina clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win over Charlotte Calderwood and Ellie Hammond.
 
Nevena Kolarevic made it a 2-0 match with a straight set win over Savanna Kollock at first singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Padilla put the Rams up 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Calderwood at the fourth position.
 
After Davidson won at third singles, the first point surrendered by Fordham in the last eleven matches, Julianne Nguyen sent the Rams to the championship final with a 7-5, 6-4 decision over Hooper at sixth singles.
