BRONX, N.Y. – Fordham junior rower
Liv Pacitti has been chosen for the student-athlete mentoring program co-sponsored by The Women's Sports Foundation and NBC Sports, an initiative designed to inspire and support women collegiate student-athletes in translating the valuable skills they have acquired on the field of play into successful careers.

 This year, 18 student-athletes, who represent 16 colleges and universities across nine sports have been paired up with NBC Sports mentors who are from a diverse range of business functions including legal, human resources, marketing, digital, communications, operations, IT, finance, sales, and media production.

Rebecca Gronsdahl. "Liv has been a model student-athlete during her time at Fordham and I can't wait to see what she takes from this opportunity. She is a tremendous ambassador for both our program and the University." Â

Commencing in November 2024 and running through April 2025, participants will engage around topics including career development, networking and personal branding, interpersonal communication, interviewing skills, and navigating the workplace. NBC Sports mentors will share their professional experience, insights and networks, while the Women's Sports Foundation will facilitate the monthly sessions. Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to work together to complete a group project focused on a topic of shared interest by the Women's Sports Foundation and NBC Sports. Each group will present their project at the culmination event at NBC Sports Headquarters in Stamford, CT. Â
