Middletown, Conn./New London, Conn. – (November 24, 2024) – The Fordham squash team wrapped up their final weekend of the Fall semester on Sunday, dropping a pair of road contests to Wesleyan and Connecticut College.
The losses move Fordham's record to 9-4.
The Rams opened Sunday with a 9-0 loss to Wesleyan.
Dealing with some injuries, Fordham still battled hard as seven of the nine matches went to four games.
After falling in the opening game, four Rams were able to even their match at one game apiece at the first, third, seventh, and ninth positions, but were unable to come out on top.
The story was the same in match two at Connecticut College, falling by a 9-0 count, where the Rams were down early due to a default win and a win by retirement.
The remaining seven matches were all three game sweeps.
Fordham will re-start its season on January 23
rd with a home match against Brown.
