BRONX, N.Y.  – The Fordham rowing team wrapped its 2024 fall season on Saturday, taking part in the Heart of the Housatonic hosted by Sacred Heart in Shelton, Conn.
 
The Rams' top performance of the day came in the four-person race, as Fordham's Varsity 4+ earned bronze in a time of 18:52.4, just 10 seconds behind Holy Cross in second.  The Second Varsity 4+ finished 12^th in 20:03.3.  The Fourth Varsity 4+ and Third Varsity 4+ crossed the line in 18^th and 19^th, respectively, with times of 21:09.0 and 21:20.6.
 
In the eight-person races, the Second Varsity 8 led the way for the Rams, finishing 12^th in a time of 18:44.  The Third Varsity 8 came in 17^th in the 20-boat field in a time of 19:25.  The Rams' top boat did not start the race.
 
The Rams' Novice 8+ boat finished fourth out of six teams, crossing the line in a time of 22:07.
