Bethlehem, Pa. – (October 5, 2024) – After a few weeks away from competition, the Fordham cross country teams were back on the trail Saturday morning at the annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
The Fordham men were off first in the Gold Division 8K race, placing 41
st out of 44 teams.
Sean Reidy clocked in with the Rams' top time at a season-best time of 25:21.5, good for 189
th overall, while
Bradford Duchesne was the next across the line in 25:28.6 (209
th).
The rest of the Rams competing on Saturday were

On the women's side, Fordham was 38
th out of 42 teams in the team competition.
Katarina Birimac had a brilliant run, placing 37
th overall on the 6K course in a time of 20:52.8.
Sarah Zahaykevich was the next Ram across the ling in 193
rd, as she ran a season-best time of 22:04.5, while
Kate Meeks also cracked the top 300 in 299
th place at 23:03.6.

The Rams now begin the championship portion of their schedule next week, as the team competes at the Metropolitan Championship, which will be held at Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey.
