Bronx, N.Y. – (October 17, 2024) – The championship portion of the Fordham cross country season continues this Friday with the running of the ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championship at Van Cortlandt Park.
Friday begins with the women and the 41
st running of the ECAC Championship. The 6K race begins at 10:45 AM.
The Rams finished 26
th in the team standings a year ago and are looking for their first ECAC crown since winning three consecutive titles from 1993 to 1995.
Then, the men will take part in the 115
th edition of the IC4A Cross Country Championship over the five-mile (8K) course at 11:30 AM.
The Fordham men finished 16th at last year's championship and are searching for their first IC4A crown since 2014. Overall, Fordham has won the IC4A Championship four times in 1989, 2006, 2013, and 2014.
