Connecticut College Box Score
Bronx, N.Y. – (January 19, 2024) – Despite wins from
Robert Cruikshank and
Crispin McCarthy, the Fordham squash team fell to Connecticut College at the Lombardi Squash Courts on Friday by a 7-2 score.
The Rams are now 11-6 on the season.
Fordham came out even through the first four matches, posting wins at the sixth and eighth slots. Fordham's
Robert Cruikshank defeated Alex Lorenzo-Cruz at sixth position in three games, 11-7 11-9, and 11-5, while
Crispin McCarthy came away with a four-game win over Timothy First at the eighth slot, 11-9, 12-14, 11-7, and 11-7.
The Camels though came away with wins in the final five matches to secure the team win. Each match was a three-game sweep.
The Rams' busy week at home continues on Saturday, January 20
th with matches against Northeastern at 10:30 AM and Penn Club at 1:30 PM, at the Lombardi Squash Courts.
