Jason Luksis Named Associate Athletic Director for Corporate Sponsorship and Revenue Generation

Luksis brings high-level experience from multiple power-conference programs

BRONX, N.Y. – Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Ed Kull has announced the addition of Jason Luksis to his staff as the Rams' Associate Athletic Director for Corporate Sponsorship and Revenue Generation.

"We're thrilled to welcome Jason to the Fordham Family," said Kull.  "Jason has a proven track record of success at numerous prestigious institutions and we're confident that his experience and skill set will be a tremendous benefit for our entire department.  Revenue generation is as important as ever in college athletics and we're sure that Jason's abilities will help us move forward in our strategic planning efforts and secure increased NIL opportunities for student-athletes."

Luksis arrives in the Bronx with more than 15 years of high-level experience in the world of sponsorship, marketing and promotions. Luksis came to Fordham from Columbia, Mo., where he spent nearly a decade helping Missouri Athletics set new records for revenue generation.  Prior to spending two years as a sales manager with REVELxp focused on Mizzou Athletics, Luksis served as the department's Executive Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Revenue Generation.  In this role, which Luksis held from 2016-20, he oversaw the Tigers' marketing, ticket operations, ticket sales, graphic design and corporate sponsorship divisions.  In the realm of ticket sales, Mizzou increased revenue by more than $350,000 and added over 7,000 donors to the Tiger Scholarship Fund under his direction.  Luksis also played a key role in the department's luxury seating initiative at football games and managed a marketing budget that totaled more than half a million dollars.

"I'm incredibly thankful and excited for the opportunity to work at such a prestigious institution in the greatest city in the world," said Luksis.  "I'm looking forward to working with everyone in the Fordham Ramily and following the vision of Ed Kull as we push Fordham Athletics to new heights."

Before his stint at Mizzou, Luksis spent one year at Baylor, where he was the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement.  His brief tenure coincided with record ticket sales for both football and basketball, including a 98 percent renewal rate for football season tickets.  Luksis and his staff also won three National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) awards in 2016.

Luksis went to Waco following two years as an assistant AD for marketing at Louisiana Tech.  In this role, he oversaw marketing strategies for all of the department's 14 varsity programs while spearheading successful ticketing campaigns for football and basketball.  He won a NACMA Award in 2014 while in Ruston.

Luksis broke into the collegiate athletics rank with a three-year tenure at the United States Military Academy, where he held a number of roles in the areas of marketing, promotions and sponsorship sales.  In these roles, Luksis undertook initiatives to drive revenue generation in the areas of both ticketing and donations, while playing a key part in on-field promotions for the Army-Navy Game in Philadelphia.  Luksis took home three NACMA Awards while at West Point.

A 2008 graduate of The College of St. Rose, Luksis began his career in minor league baseball, working as the Director of Promotions and Entertain for the Hudson Valley Renegades.

Luksis lives in West Chester, Pa., with his five-year-old son, Jordan.
