BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham football Rams took a short break from camp on Monday to listen to a presentation from Jordan Mabin, Senior Manager of Football Development at National Football League, as part of the NFL College Outreach Program.
 
Mabin delved into numerous topics with the Rams including:

• Annual success rate of NFL Rookies from your program who make NFL rosters (i.e., dating back to the previous four draft-eligible seasons)
• Academics first messaging with an emphasis on degree completion
• Comparable data sets on combined invitees, average salaries per draft round, and credited NFL pension seasons
• Successfully managing your brand reputation and awareness to enhance the transition process from college to the NFL
• Effectively utilizing campus resources to maximize the college football experience on and off the field

 
The priority for the NFL Outreach Program this year is to increase its campus presence. The program has been working with college football programs all over the country, including Notre Dame, Iowa State, and Pittsburgh.
