Track & Field Earns All-Academic Accolades from the USTFCCCA

Fordham’s Men’s and Women’s Teams Both Honored for Another Year

New Orleans, La. - The U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2023 Division I All-Academic Track & Field teams with teams earning the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher. The Atlantic 10 Conference was once again well represented in the 2023 season, which included Fordham's men's and women's teams.
 
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
 
Fordham posted a 3.57 GPA for the women's squad, while the men's team recorded a 3.39 GPA.
 
From a conference perspective, 10 Atlantic 10 women's teams were honored, while seven Atlantic 10 men's teams honored.
 
Fordham was one of seven Atlantic 10 schools to have both its men's and women's team honored, joining fellow Atlantic 10 teams, Duquesne, George Mason, La Salle, Loyola Chicago, VCU, and Saint Louis.  The women's team from Richmond, Dayton, and Rhode Island were also honored.
