Mental Health Awareness/Suicide Prevention
Fordham welcomed Brian Halloran three weeks ago, the founder of Break The Hold, a nonprofit dedicated to providing education on suicide prevention, to speak to those in attendance prior to the game. Brian lost a son to suicide and has made it his mission to 'break the hold' on mental illnesses. For more information, and to donate, please visit BTHBreakTheHold.org.
Â
Pride Game and The Trevor Project
Fordham's doubleheader against Drexel were the Rams' Pride games, honoring and celebrating all members of the LGBTQ+ community. Embracing diversity and promoting acceptance is crucial for creating a supportive, inclusive society. One resource that struck our team was
The Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization founded in 1998 with a focus on LGBTQ+ youths and suicide prevention. The Rams hope to raise awareness and build a more welcoming space for every individual. Please join us in donating to this
great cause. Thank you!

Last Time Out
The Rams wrapped up the regular season in style with a three-game sweep at George Washington this weekend. Fordham outscored the Colonials, 14-3, including a 9-1 six-inning win in game two. The pitching trio of
Holly Beeman,
Bailey Enoch, and
Devon Miller all went the distance in their respective games, limiting the hosts to a combined nine hits over 20 frames with 13 strikeouts. At the dish, Enoch went off for six RBIs, including five in that second contest, matching her career-high, and finished with a .444 average, just behind
Neleh Nogay's .545 mark. The Rams were also a perfect 6-of-6 on the basepaths.
Â
Series History
Fordham leads the all-time series with the Patriots, 21-7. The schools met four times prior to the latter joining the A-10 in 2014, splitting the contests, all on neutral ground. Since, it's been mostly Fordham, although Mason took two of three earlier this year at Bahoshy Field. Mason's Aly Rayle, a five-time A-10 Pitcher of the Week this season, stifled the Rams' offense in the first and third games, while
Sydney Wells' two-homer, five-RBI day and
Neleh Nogay's go-ahead RBI single gave Fordham its 6-5 win in the middle contest. The two schools have only met once in the postseason before, a 4-2 Fordham win in 2015.

Neleh Nogay Earns Second A-10 Rookie of the Week Award
The freshman speedster earned her second piece of league hardware last Monday after batting .375 over five games that week, including going 2-for-3 in all three contests over the weekend. Read more about it
here.
Â
Two-Time A-10 Pitcher of the Week Holly Beeman
The freshman hurler enjoyed a stellar start to her season by earning two straight Pitcher of the Week honors from the Atlantic 10. She became the first Ram, and first freshman, to earn the season's first two accolades since Lauren Quense in 2017 and just the third all-time. Beeman outdid her opening weekend, when she pitched once but nearly threw a no-hitter, with a three-hit shutout over Saint Francis to give her team its second win of the year, allowing just three singles with no walks and three strikeouts, and appearing in relief twice with a combined two runs allowed, one earned, over 4.2 innings. She finished with a 0.60 ERA over a team-high 11.2 frames and currently leads the pitching staff in nearly every category.
Â
