BRONX, N.Y. – Earlier this academic year, Fordham recognized the newest members of the Magis and Archbishop Hughes Societies, a pair of organizations that honors those who have given generously over their lifetimes to the University.
 
Members of the Archbishop Hughes Society have made outright gifts and pledges to Fordham totaling $1 million or more.  Inductees to the Magis Society have made outright gifts and pledges to Fordham totaling $15 million or more.
 
Many members of these two prestigious societies have made Fordham Athletics a focus of their munificence. 
 
At this year's ceremony, Robert E. Campbell, GABELLI '55, and Joan M. Campbell were enshrined into The Magis Society, becoming the eighth individual, family or organization to earn the distinction.
 
The Magis Society's inaugural 2016 class included many donors to Fordham Athletics:
