Bronx, N.Y. – (November 18, 2023) – The Fordham squash team opened their home schedule with an 8-1 victory over Princeton Club at the Lombardi Center Squash Court on Saturday.
The win evens Fordham's record at 4-4 on the year.
Earning three points by default, the Rams cruised to the team win with victories in five of the remaining six matches.
Henry Frawley started with a Fordham win at second position over Jiayang Sun, 11-3, 11-3, and 11-0, while
Gray Kearns picked up a third slot win over Wilder Crosier in three games, 11-5, 11-4, and 11-9.
Crispin McCarthy earned a win at fourth position over Andrew Dupree in four games, 11-8, 10-12, 11-9, and 11-8, followed by a fifth slot win for
Caleb Schumacher over Ryan Salik, 11-3, 11-4, and 11-2.
Nicholas Choo closed out the team win for the Rams with a three-game win over Jack Green, 11-1, 11-3, and 11-3.
The Rams conclude their home opening weekend of play on Sunday, November 19
th with a pair of matches against Cornell Club (9:00 AM) and George Washington (12:30 PM) at the Lombardi Center Squash Courts.
