Golf Completes Play at the MacDonald Cup

Manning Matches Career-Low 70 to Set New Career-Low Three-Round Score

New Haven, Conn. – Fordham golf wrapped up play at the MacDonald Cup, finishing 11th. Minnesota held on for the team title as did St. John's Peicheng Chen for individual honors.
 
Nicholas Manning matched his career-low of 70 on Sunday, carding three birdies on three consecutive holes to lead the Rams and post a T30 finish, finishing with a three-round score of 218, six strokes better than his previous best. Matching those three birdies was John Kryscio, who finished with a 222 and a T45 finish.
 
In between those two was P.J. O'Rourke, who shot a 73 to finish with a 220 and a share of 39th. Andreas Aivazoglou and Jake Mrva placed T63 and T65, respectively, while Chris Konefal finished solo 69th.
 
Fordham has several weeks off before competing in the Lehigh Invitational on October 21-22 at Saucon Valley country club.
