Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham Athletics added to its robust student-athlete development program by hosting Athlete Transition Services (ATS) on April 7.

Jonathan Orr, founder of ATS and a former Division I and professional football player, spoke to our Fordham junior and senior student-athletes about the transition to life after college athletics. ATS has spoken to student-athletes at Wisconsin, Clemson, Alabama, Florida State, and Virginia Tech, among many other institutions.

Jonathan uses his own life experiences to present about the potential challenges for student-athletes after their playing career is over as well as reminding student-athletes to tap into the skills they have mastered throughout their time as a student-athlete.

"Jonathan's presentation was genuine, thoughtful and full of wisdom and guidance for our Rams," said Director of Athletics
Ed Kull. "His first-hand experience and discussion of how many life skills student-athletes learn during their playing career made his presentation engaging and much-needed for our student-athletes."
