Cherry Hill, N.J. – The Fordham women's rowing squad closed out the 2021-2022 season at the Atlantic 10 Championships on the Cooper River where the Rams placed fourth of nine teams.
 
Rhode Island won its ninth Atlantic 10 Rowing Championship with 52 points, just one point ahead of George Washington. Massachusetts was third with 37 points, followed by Fordham in fourth with 34, Saint Joseph's in fifth with 33 points, sixth place Dayton (26) and seventh place Duquesne (17). La Salle and George Mason rounded out the team finishes.
 
Following the championship, Maren Geier was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 while Elizabeth Kerrigan and Maja Gunz where each placed on the Second Team. All three were members of the Fordham Varsity 8.
 
The Rams were led by the Varsity 8 which placed fourth in the race in 7:17.883, behind Rhode Island, George Washington and Massachusetts. Fordham qualified for the Final One with a second-place finish in its heat, just behind Massachusetts.
 
The Varsity 8 was comprised of Anya Casey (1), Lizzie Kerrigan (2), Lila Evans (3), Maren Geier (4), Annabelle Baulch (5), Maja Gunz (6), Eleanor Rodde (7), and Hanna Decker (8) with Alex Levy at coxswain.

The Second Varsity 8 placed second in its heat, just behind Rhode Island, but well ahead of Massachusetts, to advance to the Final One where the Rams placed fourth.
 
The Second Varsity 8 was comprised of Elizabeth Weldon (1), Tiernan Degnan (2), Catherine Samia (3), Margarita McCoy (4), Brooke Gould (5), Jamie Forbes (6), Caitlin Boyle (7), and Elli Lewis (8) with Stefania Rocca at coxswain.

The Third Varsity 8 placed third in its race, behind Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
 
The Third Varsity 8 was comprised of Jaden Hochroth (1), Olivia Caponga (2), Nicole Simbana (3), Jillian Klostermann (4), Molly Murray (5), Jordan Schmidt (6), Molly Ewing (7), and Maggie Geier (8) with Alena Bujnowski at coxswain.
 
The Varsity 4 took third in its heats to move on to the Final 2 where it won the race in 8:42.306, in front of Dayton.
 
The Varsity 4 was comprised of Fiona Eves (1), Grace McFadden (2), Taylor Bell (3), and Katherine Karustis (4) with Paige McCallum at coxswain.
 
Fordham's second varsity 4 placed seventh.
 
The second Varsity 4 was comprised of Olivia Caponga (1), Lauren Yu (2), Nicole Simbana (3), and Jordan Schmidt (4) with Charlotte Maravelis at coxswain.
