Bronx, N.Y. – For the third straight season, Fordham senior quarterback
Tim DeMorat was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, it was announced by the League office today.
DeMorat becomes just the second Patriot League player to win three consecutive Offensive Player of the Year honors, the first since Holy Cross' Dominic Randolph (2007-2009).
Joining DeMorat were seven other Rams who were named First Team All-Patriot League. These teammates include senior wide receivers
Dequece Carter and
Fotis Kokosioulis, sophomore linebacker
James Conway, senior defensive lineman
Jonathan Coste, grad student linebacker
Ryan Greenhagen, grad student offensive lineman
Phil Saleh, and grad student running back
Trey Sneed.
Joining the eight first team selections were seven second team picks: junior wide receiver
Mekai Felton, senior offensive lineman
Ryan Joyce, sophomore running back
Julius Loughridge, junior kicker
Brandon Peskin, senior offensive lineman
Lucas Portes, senior defensive back
Stephen Williams II, and senior wide receiver
MJ Wright.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Tim DeMorat (Sr., QB, Merritt Island, Fla./Viera)
• Three-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year.
• Completed 301 of 458 passes (65.7%) for 4,561 yards and 53 touchdowns.
• Set school single season record with 4,561 passing yards and 53 touchdowns (also a Patriot League record).
• Leads the NCAA FCS in passing yards/game (414.6), passing touchdowns (53), and total offense (417.4 yards/game).
• Set the school and Patriot League records for most passing touchdowns in a season (53) and career (120) and most passing yards in a season (4,561).
• Also set school career records for completions (1,007) and passing yards (13,124).
• Has earned Patriot League Offensive Player of the week nine times in 2022.
FIRST TEAM ALL-PATRIOT LEAGUE
Dequece Carter (Sr., WR, Louisa, Va./Woodbury Forest School)
• Caught 55 passes for 1,115 yards and 12 touchdowns.
• Eighth Fordham receiver, and one of three on 2022 team, to record more than 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
• Third in the Patriot League and fourth in the NCAA FCS in receiving yards/game (101.4).
• Second in the Patriot League and seventh in the NCAA FCS in touchdown receptions.
• Fourth in the League receptions/game (5.0).
• 12 touchdown catches is tied for third most in a season at Fordham.
• Has 30 career touchdown receptions, fourth on the Fordham career list.
• Has 2,986 career receiving yards, fourth most in school history.
James Conway (So., LB, Omaha, Neb./Millard West)
• Leads team with 114 total tackles, 54 solo.
• Team-high 9.5 TFLs along with 3.0 sacks.
• Also has three pass breakups, three quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
• Leads Patriot League and seventh in the NCAA FCS, in tackles/game (10.4).
• Named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week three times in 2022.
• Has recorded more than 100 total tackles in each of his first two seasons.
Jonathan Coste (Sr., DL, Queens, N.Y./Christ the King)
• 36 total tackles, 16 solo.
• 7.5 TFLs along with 4.5 sacks.
• Started all eleven games on defensive line.
• Fordham defense leads the Patriot League and is 20th in the NCAA FCS, in sacks/game (2.64).
• Fordham defense is second in the Patriot League in tackles for loss/game (5.9).
Ryan Greenhagen (Gr., LB, Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII)
• Second on team with 103 total tackles, a team-high 57 solo.
• Has 7.0 TFLs along with 4.5 sacks.
• Third in Patriot League and 24th in the NCA AFCS, in tackles/game (9.4).
• 2022 Campbell Trophy finalist.
• Named to the Buck Buchanan watch list (top FCS def. player) and the Reese's Senior Bowl watch List.
• A four-time All-Patriot League selection and 2020-21 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year.
• Set school career records for total tackles (415), solo tackles (241) and career tackles for loss (48.0).
Fotis Kokosioulis (Sr., WR, Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South)
• Caught 89 passes for 1,180 yards and 14 touchdowns.
• Sixth Fordham receiver, and one of three on 2022 team, to record more than 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
• Led team in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving scores.
• 14 touchdown catches ties Fordham single season record.
• Leads Patriot League and second in the NCAA FCS in receiving touchdowns.
• Second in the Patriot League and the NCAA FCS in receiving yards/game (107.3).
• Second in the League and the NCAA FCS in receptions/game (8.1).
• Leads the Patriot League and ninth in the NCAA FCS in all-purpose yards/game (153.9).
• Has 35 career receiving touchdowns, a new school record.
• Has 215 career receptions, third all-time at Fordham.
• Has 2,862 career receiving yards, fifth on the Fordham career list.
• Caught 13 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns at Ohio University, setting a school and Patriot League record for receiving yards in a game.
• Tied Fordham single game record with four receiving scores.
Phil Saleh (Gr., OL, Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest)
• Started all eleven games at left tackle
• Helped Rams lead the NCAA FCS in passing offense (421.4 yards/game) and total offense (612.1 yards/game).
• Helped Rams lead the PL and rank second in the NCAA FCS in scoring offense (50.2 points/game).
• Helped Rams lead the PL in fewest sacks allowed (1.82/game).
• Four-year starter.
Trey Sneed (Gr., RB, Orange Park, Fla./Fleming Island (Rutgers))
• Rushed 180 times for 1,002 yards and five touchdowns.
• Also caught 32 passes for 381 yards.
• Leads the Patriot League in rushing yards and rushing yards/game (91.1).
• 24th in NCAA FCS in rushing yards and 29
th in rushing yards/game.
• Became the tenth player in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season.
• Rushed 30 times for 230 yards and a score against Colgate, tying for the 14th best single game rushing performance all-time at Fordham.
SECOND TEAM ALL-PATRIOT LEAGUE
Mekai Felton (Jr., WR, Baltimore, Md./Franklin)
• Caught 36 passes for 512 yards and six touchdowns.
• Sixth in the Patriot League in receiving touchdowns.
• Eighth in the Patriot League in receiving yards/game (51.2).
• 13th in the Patriot League in receptions/game (3.6).
Ryan Joyce (Sr., OL, Stockton, N.J./Hunterdon Central)
• Started all eleven games at right guard.
• Helped Rams lead the NCAA FCS in passing offense (421.4 yards/game) and total offense (612.1 yards/game).
• Helped Rams lead the PL and rank second in the NCAA FCS in scoring offense (50.2 points/game).
• Helped Rams lead the PL in fewest sacks allowed (1.82/game).

Julius Loughridge (So., RB, Houston, Texas/Cypress Woods)
• Rushed 108 times for 714 yards and six touchdowns.
• Leads team in rushing scores and second in rushing yards.
• Leads Patriot League in rushing yards/carry (6.97).
• Third in Patriot League in rushing yards/game (77.9) and fourth in rushing touchdowns.
• Had four 100-yard rushing games in 2022.
Brandon Peskin (Jr., PK, Melville, N.Y./Half Hollow East (Syracuse))
• Connected on 12 of his 17 field goal attempts.
• Is 70-for-71 in PATs.
• Set school single season record with 70 PATs.
• 12 field goals is tied for sixth most in a season for the Rams.
• Leads Patriot League and sixth in the NCAA in scoring (9.6 points/game).
• Third in Patriot League in field goals/game (1.09).
• 106 points scored is seventh most in a season at Fordham.
Lucas Portes (Sr., OL, Gaithersburg, Md./Good Counsel)
• Started ten games at left guard.
• Helped Rams lead the NCAA FCS in passing offense (421.4 yards/game) and total offense (612.1 yards/game).
• Helped Rams lead the PL and rank second in the NCAA FCS in scoring offense (50.2 points/game).
• Helped Rams lead the PL in fewest sacks allowed (1.82/game).
• A three-year starter.
Stephen Williams II (Sr., DB, Jacksonville, Fla./Trinity Christian Academy)
• Has 40 total tackles, 27 solo.
• Has 2.0 TFLs and one sack.
•Also has three interceptions and eleven pass breakup, both team highs.
• Second in the Patriot League and sixth in the NCAA in passes defended (1.5/game).
• Started all eleven games.
MJ Wright (Sr., WR, Freehold, N.J./Red Bank Catholic)
• Caught 57 passes for 1,051 yards and ten touchdowns.
• Seventh Fordham receiver, and one of three on 2022 team, to record more than 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
• Second on team in receptions and third in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
• Third in the Patriot League in receptions/game (5.2).
• Fourth in League in receiving yards and receiving yards/game (96.5).
• Third in the Patriot League in receiving touchdowns.
• Ten receiving touchdowns is the fifth best single season at Fordham.
