Tarrytown, N.Y. – (November 20, 2022) – The Fordham squash team wrapped up its weekend play on Sunday morning, falling to Northeastern, 5-4, at the Hackley School in Tarrytown.
The Rams are now 10-4 on the season.
Fordham earned victories at the second, third, sixth, and seventh positions for the team's scoring.
Nicholas Gilman defeated Elias Paul at second position in three games, 11-9, 11-6, and 12-10, while
Henry Frawley topped Sam Cotsarelis in three games at third position, 11-5, 11-9, and 11-6.
At sixth position,
Sofia Arseniev picked up an 11-7, 11-3, 11-5 victory over Jacob Domber with
Robert Cruikshank getting the win at seven over Matthew Giuliano, 11-7, 11-4, and 11-5.
The Rams had two chances to earn the decisive fifth team point but fell in two five-game matches at first and fifth position.
Fordham will next be in action on Saturday, December 3
rd, as they host a trio of teams at the Lombardi Squash Courts. The Rams face Yale Club at 9:30 AM, Connecticut at 11:00 AM, and Swarthmore at 2:00 PM.
