Annapolis, Md. – (November 13, 2022) – The Fordham squash team concluded its run at the Navy Round Robin on Sunday afternoon, falling to Denison by an 8-1 count.
With the loss, Fordham is now 7-3 on the season.
The Rams' lone match win came from
Bennett Van Liew, who earned a four-game win over Lucas Piller at the #4 slot, 3-11, 11-8 11-8, and 11-5.
Fordham fell in three-game sweeps in six of the eight other matches, while
Jack Stanley (#5 – 11-6, 11-9, 1-11, 11-6) and
Sofia Arseniev (#6 – 11-6 6-11, 12-10, 12-10) each fell in four games to Ross Falcon, and Joao Barbosa Gomes, respectively.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on Friday, November 18
th, when they play Cal at 7:30 PM.
