West Orange, N.J. - Sophomore Jake Mrva and Chris Konefal set or matched career-bests across the board on day two of the Metropolitan Intercollegiate at the Montclair Golf Club, helping the Rams to a fifth-place finish. FDU took home team honors, while Wagner's Thomas Choi's 4-under moved him to the top of the individual leaderboard. 

Mrva earned his first-ever top-10 finish with back-to-back 72's, the third and fourth times he's carded that score, to finish T8 with a combined 144 score, also a career-low. Konefal matched his career-high with an even-par 70 on Tuesday to vault up the leaderboard into a share of 10th, also his first top-10. Nicholas Manning finished T21 by producing a 1-over 71. 

P.J. O'Rourke fell back with a 79 into a share of 25th, while Andreas Aivazoglou improved upon his opening round by five strokes to finish solo 43rd. 

The tournament concludes Fordham's Fall 2022 schedule and will pick things back up in March.
