Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham volleyball (9-13, 3-8) is at Duquesne (5-19, 2-10) for its final two true road contests of the 2022 regular season this weekend. The two schools will face off on Friday night at 6 p.m. and at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The former will be streamed on ESPN+.

Series History
The Dukes lead the all-time series, 38-6, since the Rams joined the conference in 1995. After nearly two decades of domination, Fordham has won two of the last three meetings with Duquesne, both four-set matches at home. The Rams are 2-20 in Pittsburgh all-time.

Atlantic 10 Championship Picture
The Rams are currently one spot out of a postseason berth, in seventh with a 3-8 record and .273 win percentage. Above them is Saint Louis at 5-7 and .417, respectively. Fordham has had a very tough conference schedule to-date but will now close the regular season out with all seven matches against teams in the bottom half of the standings, including five at home. Duquesne is in ninth, Rhode Island is 10
th, Saint Louis is the team just above the Rams, and George Mason is eighth. Fordham control its fate to reach a third consecutive postseason berth for just the second time in the A-10 era. Â

The Rams rank within the top-five in the A-10 in attacks per set (1

Whitley Moody is second in the conference in points (4.12 per set, 338.0 total) and kills (3.54 per set, 290 total). She is also eighth with 0.38 aces per set. Nationally, Moody is 28
th in attacks per set (11.32) and 22
nd in total attacks (928).
Mallory Lipski is third in the league and 43
rd nationally with 4.68 digs per set, while
Chloe Pejouan is fourth and 91
st, respectively, with 1.15 blocks per set. Moody is 88
th with Lipski is also 46
th with 384 total digs and Pejouan is 52

Climbing the Program Ranks
Mallory Lipski broke the program three-set record for digs at Loyola Chicago on October 1
st, with 25, and continues her climb up the all-time ranks, now fifth with 1,228 total career digs, while her 3.84 career rate is second to only former teammate Morgan Williams.
Whitley Moody is tops in program history with 3.57 kills per set, nearly .2 more than Olivia Fairchild's record-setting mark.
Megan Brzozowski is seventh with 2,557 assists and ninth with 7.80 dimes per set.
Chloe Pejouan is extremely close to joining the top-10s for all the total block categories but her 1.30 per-set average is second all-time only to former teammate
Izzy Fichtel.

Audrey Brown Named A-10 Rookie of the Week Again
The freshman outside hitter
became the fifth Ram to earn multiple Rookie of the Week awards, doing so twice in the first three weeks of the season. Brown posted back-to-back 14-kill efforts at the UND Classic, hitting a super-efficient .463 on 54 attacks for the weekend, including a mark of .565 in the sweep of North Dakota.

Whitley Moody Named A-10 Player of the Week
The junior outside hitter
earned her second career Player of the Week honor after leading the Rams to four wins in four days as August turned to September, racking up 54 kills, 35 digs, five blocks, and four aces, averaging 4.32 points per set.

USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award
For the third straight year and fourth time in the last five years, the Rams earned a United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association
Team Academic award, holding a 3.3 GPA or above for the entire 2021-22 academic year. 12 student-athletes also saw placement on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, which requires a 3.0 GPA or better for the year.

Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll
The league's head coaches voted on the annual preseason poll and Fordham was picked to finish seventh. Dayton was selected to successfully defend its title, garnering eight first-place votes, with VCU getting the other two votes and picked second, followed by newcomers Loyola Chicago in third.

Fordham plays its final two regular season road contests next weekend at Duquesne at 6 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, respectively, before returning to the Bronx for five straight home matches.
