Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue their 2026 Atlantic 10 season by hosting the University of Dayton Flyers on Friday, October 2 at 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, October 3 at 12:00 p.m. in the Rose Hill Gym.

Fordham enters the matches with a 6-9 overall record, 0-2 in the Atlantic 10, after dropping a pair of matches at Duquesne last weekend, 3-2 and 3-1, while Dayton enters the contest with a 10-5 overall record, 2-0 in the conference, following a two match sweep of Davidson last weekend, 3-1 and 3-0, in Dayton.

• It will be the 54th and 55th meetings between the Rams and the Flyers.

NEWS & NOTES
• Last season, the Rams set multiple team blocking records, including total blocks at 303. Fordham tallied 17 games with 10 or more blocks, and broke the total blocks record in 15 fewer sets than the 2005 Rams.
• Despite missing a portion of the year with an injury,
Tatum Holderied still managed to set the single season block assists record with 144 in 2025, while her 1.83 blocks per set were the second-best mark in school history. She also currently holds the career blocks per set record at 1.35.

Whitney Woodrow has now amassed 2,153 career assists, placing her ninth on the Fordham career list. Currently, only five Rams have reached the 3,000-assist mark.
• Fordham leads the Atlantic 10 in team aces (114) and is second in aces/set (1.97).

Giada Ianuale is second in the A10 in acres/set (0.48).
WHO'S NEXT
• The Rams continue their Atlantic 10 schedule by traveling up Route 95 to Kingston, R.I., to take on the University of Rhode Island Rams on Wednesday, October 7, at 5:00 p.m.
• It will be the 60th meeting between the Rams and the Rams.
• Rhode Island leads the all-time series, 39-20, but Fordham has taken six of the past eight meetings.
• The two teams split two matches last year with Fordham winning in the Bronx, 3-1, and Rhode Island winning in Kinston, 3-1.
