Bridgeport, Pa. – (October 27, 2022) - The Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) announced its weekly awards on Thursday with Fordham's Thomas Lercari (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) being selected as the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
 
In his lone game of the week, Lercari recorded 15 saves, including a penalty block, to go with one assist in Fordham's 14-7 win over Navy.
 
Lercari and the rest of the Rams will next be in action on Saturday, October 29^th, as they host Bucknell at 1:00 PM and Mt. St. Mary's at 5:00 PM at the Messmore Aquatic Center.
