Newport News, Va. – (September 28, 2021) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly cross country awards on Tuesday, where a trio of Fordham runners were honored by the league. Seniors
Brandon Hall (Hopedale, Mass.) and
Bridget Alex (Hollywood, Fla.) were selected as the Men's and Women's Performers of the Week, while freshman
Helen Moloney (Floral Park, N.Y.) was the Women's Rookie of the Week.
Hall won the individual title at the Jasper Cross Country Fall Invite, held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, N.Y., this past Saturday. He posted a time of 25:09.7 over the 8K course, which is the best time by a Fordham runner this season. He led Fordham to a first place team finish.
Alex was Fordham's top women's performer at the Jasper Cross Country Fall Invite, placing 11
th overall. She recorded a time of 22:50.06 over the 6K course.
Moloney finished ninth in the college division race at the Jasper Cross Country Fall Invite. She recorded a time of 25:44.7 over the 6k course.
