2021 Schedule

Bronx, N.Y. - (July 30, 2021) – The Fordham water polo team announced it 2021 schedule this week, which features 28 matches and will be capped by the MAWPC Championship in November.
 
Fordham begins the year at the Bruno Classic on September 4-5, which will have matches at both Harvard and Brown over the two-day tournament.  On day one in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Fordham will face MIT and Harvard, while day two, the Rams take on Santa Clara and Mercyhurst in Providence, Rhode Island.
 
The Rams then head to the challenging Princeton Invitational, September 11-12, where they will face California Baptist, St. Francis Brooklyn, and Princeton.

 
Next up is the Bison Invitational, hosted at Bucknell, from September 18-19.  That will have four matches for Fordham, which includes two league matches with Bucknell and Wagner.  The Rams will also face Mt. St. Mary's in a non-league match, as well as Mercyhurst.
 
Fordham will have its first home match on Sunday, September 26^th, when the team host Navy for a league match, before heading west for the team's regular trip to California for the Gary Troyer Tournament.  After a pair of non-tournament matches on September 30 at Redlands and at Mt. St. Antonio, the Troyer Tournament takes place on October 1-2, where the Rams will face Cal Lutheran, Westcliff, Whittier, and Long Beach State.
 
The Rams then have a stretch of five straight league home matches after returning to the East Coast against Mt. St. Mary's (Oct. 8), George Washington (Oct. 9), Wagner (Oct. 22), Johns Hopkins (Oct. 30), and Bucknell (Oct. 31).  After that stretch, Fordham will then have four straight road league matches before ending the season with a home match with St. Francis Brooklyn on November 12^th.
 
The MAWPC Championship is then slated for November 19-21, which will be held at Navy.
