Last Time Out
The Rams played just one road match last weekend – a
three-set loss at Saint Louis. Â Â
Â
Where They Rank
The Rams find themselves in the top half of every statistical category within the Atlantic 10 – 5
th in hitting percentage (.183), 5
th in kills per set (11.74), and 3
rd in blocks per set (2.02) to name just three.
Â
At the individual level, several Rams are enjoying a terrific start to their seasons.
Chloe Pejouan leads the league with 1.58 blocks per set over 33 frames; the next highest player is Saint Louis' Jillian Mattingly at 1.19.
Whitley Moody is fourth with 3.69 kills per set and fifth with 4.05 points per set, while
Aria De La Rosa is seventh in the league with a .284 hit percentage. Next,
Megan Brzozowski is fourth with 8.26 assists per set and

Series Histories
George Washington – The Colonials hold a 33-13 all-time advantage over the Rams since the latter joined the Atlantic 10 for the 1995 season. However, Fordham has turned the tide in the rivalry in the last half decade, winning six of the past seven meetings since the beginning of 2016, including a four-set road victory in the Spring. In that one,
Izzy Fichtel racked up a career-high 14 kills, one fewer than
Whitley Moody's 15, to go with a match-high six blocks.
Â
George Mason – The Rams lead the all-time series, 8-5, since the Patriots joined the A-10 in 2013. Fordham is currently on a four-match win streak, including a pair of four-set victories home and away this past Spring. In the home match, Moody notched career-bests of 18 digs and three aces, also adding 18 kills, while Fichtel posted eight blocks. In the road match, Moody had 17 kills and 15 digs, while Fichtel had seven blocks and nine kills.
Â
Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll
As a result of their effort in the spring, the Rams were predicted by the league's head coaches to repeat their fourth-place finish in the
annual preseason poll, the highest Fordham has ever finished in it, besting the previous high of sixth in 2009.
