Bethlehem, Pa. – The Fordham golf team moved up to finish in ninth among 14 schools at the 2021 Lehigh Invitational. Harvard's Brian Ma and Siena's Nolan Crowley finished in a split of individual honors at 2-under for the weekend, while the Crimson took home team honors by two strokes.
Andreas Aivazoglou improved upon his day one 79, moving up to a share of 29
th with a second-round 75, including three birdies.
Nicholas Manning backed up slightly with a day-two 78 to finish T34, but led the Rams with four birdies. Jake Mrva finished his debut tournament by cutting three shots off his opening-round 80 to finish T36 with a two-day 157.
P.J. O'Rourke, T40 and also improving from day one by four strokes, and
John Kryscio, who shot a 78 on Saturday, four shots better than yesterday, rounded out the scoring in T47, carding a trio of birdies, as well.
The Rams will conclude the Fall schedule with the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship at Montclair Golf Club in just over two weeks.
