Newport News, Va. – (October 19, 2021) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly cross country awards on Tuesday, where Fordham freshman
Madeleine Ryan (Western Springs, Ill.) was selected as the Women's Rookie of the Week. She is the second Ram to be named Rookie of the Week this season, joining teammate
Helen Moloney.
Ryan competed at the highly competitive Princeton Invitational, where she placed 76
th overall in the 6k with a time of 23:43.4. She helped Fordham place 14
th in the team standings out of 21 teams.
Ryan and the Rams are next in action on Saturday, October 30
th, when the team competes at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship, which will be held at the Elvin R. King XC Course in Cedarville, Ohio.
