Even though the COVID-19 outbreak canceled the 2020 Block F Awards Dinner it will not stop us  from recognizing the outstanding student-athletes from 2019-2020. Instead of gathering in the historic Rose Hill Gym each winner will be honored online, from team MVPs to all the special award winners. We know that it's not the same but we want all the student-athletes to know that we thank you for your hard work and dedication and we are thinking of you and your families.
 
Bronx, N.Y. – Today we honor two more of our team MVPs, senior Jake Miller-Tolt from water polo and junior Griffin Fitzgerald from squash.
 
JAKE MILLER-TOLT (Sr., Water Polo)
* A three-time MVP
* A 2018 and 2019 ACWPC Division I Men's Varsity All-American (Honorable Mention)
* A four-time MAWPC All-East Region selection, three-time First Team honoree
* Set school record for goal in a season with a career-high 114, cracking the 100-goal mark for the second time
* Was also a two-time MAWPC Offensive Player of the Week honoree
* Added 67 assists and 20 blocks, which were both team-highs with his 57 steals ranking second on the squad
* Notched a team-high 26 goals with the man-advantage
* Became the modern day career leader at Fordham in goals (351), assists (220), points (571), steals (296), and field blocks (71).
 

 
 
GRIFFIN FITZGERALD (Jr., Squash)
* Compiled a 20-8 record in 2019-2020
* Second on team in wins
* Played at top four positions, going 4-1 at No. 1
* Helped Rams win their second straight Chaffee Cup title
 

 
As team MVPs, Miller-Tolt and are also nominated for the Lombardi Award as the male athlete of the year.
