Bridgeport, Pa. – (October 28, 2025) – The MAWPC released its weekly awards on Tuesday with Fordham's 
Luca Provenziani (Rome, Italy) receiving Co-Player of the Week honors, while 
Matthew Bonello DuPuis (Sliemma, Malta) earned Rookie of the Week accolades.
 
Provenziani netted 12 goals, eight assists, nine steals, and three blocks during the Rams' west coast swing.  He opened the week with six goals, three assists, two steals, and a block in Fordham's 16-15 sudden death overtime win at #10 Long Beach State.  In that game, he had the game-winning steal and goal with two seconds left.  He then recorded three goals, an assist, and five steals in a 15-14 loss to #4 Cal, while also having a hat trick against #3 Stanford.  Provenziani capped the week by dishing out three assists to go with two steals in a win over #8 San Jose State.
 
Bonello DuPuis had a solid week in four games against top ten opponents.  He totaled 29 saves and five steals, starting with 11 saves and three steals in a sudden death overtime win over #10 Long Beach State, which included three stops in the sudden death period.  He also made seven saves against #3 Stanford and then recorded nine saves in a 10-9 win over #8 San Jose State.
 
Provenziani, Bonello DuPuis, and the rest of the Rams are next in action on Saturday, November 1
st with a road match at Princeton, before playing Navy and George Washington on Sunday, November 2
nd.
