Bronx, N.Y. - As we all know the 2020 NCAA Spring Varsity Athletics season has been canceled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. This has resulted in the senior season for many Fordham student-athletes to be cut short.
Â
Over the course of the next two months, Fordham Athletics is going to highlight each of the Senior Student-Athletes represented among their Spring Semester Varsity Athletics Programs. While they will not get the chance to have their coveted senior day on the playing field this year, it serves as an opportunity for them to be highlighted regardless as they approach graduation this semester.
Seniors represented whose season came to an unprecedented halt hail from the Ram Baseball, Softball, Outdoor Track and Field, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, Women's Rowing, and Golf programs, although the latter has no seniors this year.
Â
While there is no substitute for competition and rewarding the student-athletes for their endless efforts on the playing field and in the classroom, we hope this shines a light on those seniors. We will highlight what they plan to accomplish upon graduation and the incredible work they have done, and will continue to do, as they forever represent Fordham University Athletics.Â
Â
Starting tomorrow follow along with the hashtag #RamsSeniorSpotlight as we post and highlight one Spring Semester Student-Athlete per day on the
FordhamRams twitter, and
FordhamAthletics Instagram page. This spotlight will include the student-athlete's dream job, major, and more!
